About

Aviation-grade discipline applied to exterior maintenance.

Altitude Exterior Systems is a drone-based exterior maintenance operator serving commercial property across San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino counties — built around FAA Part 107 certified operators, aviation-grade insurance, and documentation as a default deliverable.

Story & Capabilities

Building a single-vendor partner for exterior asset condition.

AES exists because commercial exterior maintenance is structurally inefficient — multiple vendors, expensive access infrastructure, OSHA exposure, and almost no documentation as a default deliverable. Drone-based delivery solves the access problem; the operational stack we've built around it solves the rest.

Today we deliver building washing, soft washing, pressure washing (ground-supplemented), roof cleaning, solar panel cleaning, and a structured set of operational add-ons — across San Diego, Orange, and Los Angeles counties.

Tomorrow's expansion is already in the architecture: drone-based solar inspection (thermal + visual), roof and building inspections, preventative maintenance subscriptions, and infrastructure inspection. The vision isn't "drone cleaning company." It's a single-vendor partner for commercial exterior asset condition — cleaning, inspection, and reporting under one operations relationship.

  • Today.Building washing, soft washing, pressure washing, roof cleaning, solar cleaning, and add-on services across SD → LA County.
  • Phase 2.Drone-based solar inspection, roof & building inspections, preventative maintenance subscriptions.
  • Phase 3.Infrastructure inspection, industrial facility cleaning + inspection, asset condition reporting layer.
Founder

Keegan Jones

Founder & Owner, Altitude Exterior Systems

A graduate of the University of San Diego and a retired United States Marine, Keegan brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in security and facilities operations across commercial and industrial environments.

After years overseeing the maintenance challenges of large industrial warehouses and high-rise properties, he recognized a structural gap in how the industry approached exterior cleaning — too dangerous, too slow, too dependent on lift access and rope-trained labor. As a longtime drone enthusiast, Keegan saw the opportunity to bring aviation-grade discipline to a job most contractors still treated as ground work.

Keegan holds an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and personally oversees AES operations standards, including pre-flight authorizations, insurance documentation, California chemical compliance, and after-job documentation on every engagement.

Operating Standard

What "aviation-grade" actually means here.

A lot of contractors say "professional." We use the word "aviation-grade" deliberately — it means a specific operational stack we apply to every job, by default.

Certifications & Compliance

The credential stack.

What we deliver before, during, and after every job.

  • FAA Part 107 — Remote Pilot Certificate. Federal Aviation Administration certification for commercial drone operation. Every operator on the team. Certificate numbers available on request.
  • LAANC airspace authorization. Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability — filed for any flight in controlled airspace, before mobilization.
  • OSHA 10 / OSHA 30. Construction or General Industry training across the team. Standard for commercial site work in California.
  • Fall protection & aerial work awareness. Even with drone delivery, jobsite fall protection awareness applies to ground crew operations.
  • California chemical handling training. Soft-wash chemistry, runoff awareness, and California-specific stormwater compliance.
  • Insurance — $1M general liability. Standard commercial GL coverage at industrial-friendly limits.
  • Insurance — $1M aviation hull/liability. Aviation coverage is separate from contractor GL — and required for serious commercial drone work. Most cleaning contractors don't carry it.
  • Licensed & bonded. California contractor licensing maintained and current.
Service Area

Southern California — San Diego to the Inland Empire.

We serve commercial property across San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino counties. Most jobs fall within this corridor — and projects outside the area are evaluated case by case for larger commercial scopes.

For property portfolios spanning the area, we coordinate scheduling and consolidate mobilization to minimize per-property cost. A single AES contract can cover work across all four counties — from coastal hospitality and biotech corridors to inland logistics and industrial parks.

Outside Southern California? For larger scopes — industrial facilities, hospitality portfolios, multi-property HOA contracts — we'll evaluate engagements outside the standard service area. Send us the details.
